Setting up a spam filter in Outlook


Follow our step by step tutorial to configuring Outlook 2000 Rules Wizard, so all your Spam gets automatically sent to your Deleted folder.

Step 1

Select the 'Rules Wizard'

Select 'New'

Step 3

Select 'Start creating a rule from a template' , then click 'Next'

Check the box alongside 'with specified words in the subject'

Step 5

Click on the hyperlink specified words and type ***SPAM*** in the field called 'Add new:' Then click 'Add', then click ''OK'

To specify where your Spam should be sent, click the word 'specified' in the sentance 'move it to the specified folder'

Decide which folder you want the email sent to, such as Deleted Items
