Express DSL Broadband Terms and Conditions

^ The actual transmission rate which can be achieved is likely to be less than the maximum transmission capability (ie.20000/10000kbps) quoted. Factors that may affect the actual transmission rate include network configuration, dimensioning, line quality, customer premises interference, distance from exchange, method of data transmission, exchange type, hardware and software configuration and other technical reasons. Approximately 60% of customers will be able to achieve speeds of around 6000kbps or more when using the 8000/384kbps product, and 10000kbps or more on an ADSL2+ service.

4. Express Online 512 speed is slowed to 64kbps after included monthly data has been reached.

5. Express Off-Peak 512 speed is slowed to 128kbps 8am to 6pm local time Monday to Friday with capped downloads. Fair usage policy applies and speed may be further slowed to 64kbps once fair usage of data has been downloaded in a billing period. Fair use cap is 30GB for Express Off-Peak 512.

6. Express Online 1500 and Express Online 8000 speed is slowed to 128kbps after included monthly data has been reached.

Express 256

Once included monthly data has been reached on Express Online 256 excess is charged at 9c/MB.

For new DSL customers - $99 set-up fee (set-up excludes modem cost) applies to 6 month contracts, pay by the month after expiry of minimum term. Express DSL minimum contract package cost (excludes excess charges or modem if applicable) for Express Online 256 is $278.70. Termination during minimum term requires pay out of contract cost.

For DSL transfer customers only – 6 month contract term with free set-up. Express DSL minimum contract package cost (excludes excess charges or modem if applicable) for Express Online 256 is $179.70. Termination during minimum term requires pay out of contract cost.  Return to top

Express 512

Express Online 512 speed is slowed to 64kbps after included monthly data has been reached.

For new DSL customers - $99 set-up fee (set-up excludes modem cost) applies to 6 month contracts, pay by the month after expiry of minimum term. Express DSL minimum contract package cost (excludes excess charges or modem if applicable) for Express Online 512 is $338.70. Termination during minimum term requires pay out of contract cost.

For DSL transfer customers only – 6 month contract term with free set-up. Express DSL minimum contract package cost (excludes excess charges or modem if applicable) for Express Online 512 is $239.70. Termination during minimum term requires pay out of contract cost.  Return to top

Express 512 offpeak

Express ADSL2+

For New DSL customers - $99 set-up fee (set-up excludes hardware) applies to 6 month contracts, pay by the month after expiry of minimum term. Express DSL minimum contract package cost (excludes excess charges or hardware if applicable) for Express ADSL2+ 15GB is $548.70 (6 month) or $1,798.80 (24 month), for Express ADSL2+ 60GB is $698.70 (6 month) or $2,398.80 (24 month).

For DSL transfer customers only – 6 month contract term with free set-up where you transfer a DSL service to us from another provider. Express ADSL2+ minimum contract package cost (excludes hardware and set-up) for Express ADSL2+ 15GB $449.70 and Express ADSL2+ 60GB is $599.70.  Return to top
